When Jason Williams was at Duke he didn't do everything himself, he had help. Jason said that if it wasn't for the teammates that were there he wouldn't be where he is. 

Two people by the name of Shane Battier and Elton Brand helped him through on and off court struggles such as: friends, learning plays, Finding his way around school, and any other problems. They also combined for an average of 30pts. per game while they were there. They also had 5 combinded steals per game. They were a big help in the points, assists, steals, and rebounds columns while they were together.

Through his years of school he had the best coach Mike Krzasheski who has many NCAA Champions with Duke and he was a very big part of Jason's career as a Blue Devil.Coach K and Jason Williams are now very good friends and Jason gives a lot of credit to his coach
