Zach Thomas is 5-11, 235 pounds. He was born in Pampa, Texas on Sept. 1, 1973. He went to college at Texas Tech. In college he played linebacker. In his senior year Zch was a first team probowl. In 1996 he was drafted to the Dolphins. His rookie year he led all rookies in tackles. In the 1998 season he was picked to his first probowl. He was also picked in 1999 he was the first linebacker to get selected to the probowl since Bryan Cox in !994 and 1995. He made his third consecutive probowl but couldn't play. In 1998 Thomas had 3 interceptions tied for second in highest single season total for a linebacker in Dolphins history. |
