The F-14 has a length of 61 feet and 11 inches, a height of 16 feet, and a wing area of 565 square feet.  The weight of the internal fuel is 16,2000lb.  The F-14 has two F110-GE-400 augmented turbofans.  This fighter can go to up to Mach 1.88 and down to Mach 1.20.  The operating ceiling is 53,000ft and the climb rate is 48,000ft per minute.  The F-14 has a load out of one 20mm M61 cannon with 675 rounds, four AIM-120 Amraam and four AIM-9 Sidewinders, (or F-14A, as artwork, AIM-54 Phoenix, AIM-7 Sparrow, AIM-9 Sidewinder).  There are only two countries that use the F-14 and they are Iran and the United States of America.

     The Tomcat enter into service in 1973.  It under went test missions and succeeded in all areas.  In April of '73 the Tomcat went for a test flight and detected six drones traveling at varying speeds.  Tracking started at 132 nm and the F-14 assigned a missile to each target and ripple-fired the missiles at a range of 31 nm.  The results of this  were four direct hits, one miss, and one no-test.  In all of the test missions, 155 AIM-54s were launched and had a success rate of 92%.
