Bottlenose dolphins are the most friendly to humans of all types. Because they are trainable not very shy, they are often used to entertain. They can be taught to perform tricks due to their excellent mental capabilities. |
| When in the wild, dolphins usually choose to feed on fish and squid. They have been known to use things around them such as coral as tools to help them catch and corner prey. When their favorite food is scarce, however, bottlenose dolphins will eat things such as eels and sharks. |  |
