Floor Exercise |

The floor exercise that requires lots of strength, power, and energy. A routine must last at least 70 seconds but must not exceed 90 seconds. There are white lines painted with chalk around the edges floor to mark the out of bounce. If a gymnast goes out of bounce, .1 of a point is deducted for every time they step out of bounce. All floor exercises can and probably will have a starting value of 10.0. The judges watch very closely to watch for any mistakes including going out of bounce.
