Stevie Nicks is the most famous member of the band.  After Fleetwood Mac went their separate ways, she went off and made her own CDs.  She and Lindsey came into the band back when there was only Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, and Christine.  The three of them were looking for a guitar player and it just so happened that Lindsey Buckingham was totally qualified for the job.  Mick, John, and Lindsey had to make an agreement with each other before Lindsey was an official member.  Lindsey said that the only way he was going to be in the band was if his girlfriend (which happened to be Stevie) could be in it too.  They told him to bring her in and they would try her out.  She wanted to sing in the band.  When they heard her sing, it was like destined to be.  Mick and John thought she HAD to be in the band.  The band really should thank her for coming in, because everyone knows the band by Stevie Nicks.  She'll never be as famous as she was when she was with Fleetwood Mac.
