Minority Report, starring Tom Cruise, is a movie set in the future, year
2054, in Washington D.C. It is about a "Precrime"
unit, where "pre-cogs" can see crimes before they are actually
committed. This Precrime unit is led by Detective John Anderton (Tom
Cruise).
One day, the pre-cogs see a murder that Anderton is supposed to commit, but...he is supposed to kill someone he has never met before. In my opinion, out of the four movies in this page, this is the best one. It is filled with action, and keeps you guessing until the very end. Rated: PG-13 Yahoo Overall Critics Review: A- |

Tom Cruise In this movie, Tom Cruise plays as Detective John Anderton. He leads the pre-crime unit. One day, he sees a pre-meditated crime that he is supposed commit within the next few hours. He begins to run from his own pre-crime unit, and Detective Ed Whitwer (Colin Farrel). He goes through eye surgery to change his identity, and kidnapping the head Pre-Cog to find out if he has a "Minority Report", which would show if he had a choice to commit the crime he thinks he is being framed for, or not. |

Colin Farrel In this movie, Farrel plays as Detective Ed Whitwer, who has come to the Pre-Crime unit to see if pre-crime is really a good idea, and if it should be legalized nationwide. Once Anderton (Cruise) runs from the Pre-Crime unit, Whitwer begins to lead the pre-crime unit, and the hunt for Anderton. |

Samantha Morton In this movie, Morton plays as Agatha, the head of the three Pre-cogs. The Pre-cogs were the three people, who, because of being born to drug-using parents, were able to see future murders. When Anderton is seen to murder someone, he kidnaps Morton, to see if he has a minority report, his one chance of proving his innocence. The minority report is when the murderer-to-be has a choice, whether to commit the crime or not, and without the interference of the pre-crime detectives, would not have murdered their victim. But, because of the risks in arresting someone who would not have done the crime, the minority report is erased from everything, except the head pre-cog. Anderton uses Morton to see if he has a minority report or not. |

(caption of picture) In this picture, Detective John Anderton has gotten an eyeball replacement, to throw the pre-crime unit off his trail. Because the movie is set in the future, identification is now done by a process using identification scans of an eyeball. Because he is being chased, he decides to change his identity, but somehow the pre-crime detectives have found where he may be, so they send in small spider-like robots to scan the eyes of everyone in the building. Because his eyes are wrapped from the surgery, he has a hard time getting his "new eyes" scanned. |
