Once he gets back to land, he becomes the victim of an unknown group.  Bourne enlists the help of Marie Kreutz (Franka Potente), in running from people he does not know, and finding out his true identity.  In the end, his memory begins to slowly come back to him, and he understands what has happened.

Matt Damon

   In this movie, Damon plays as Jason Bourne.  He doesn't know who he is, but has numerous fighting and language skills.  He also finds that he has become the victim of a secret government group. 

   Early in the movie, Bourne meets Marie (Franka Potente), when he pays her a large sum of money to drive him to Paris, she ends up helping him find who he really is and who is chasing him.

Franka Potente

    In this movie, Potente plays as Marie Kreutz, the woman who Bourne meets early in the movie.  She stays with him for the whole movie, and goes with him to find the people chasing Bourne.

   As with most movies, there is romance between the two characters, later on in the movie.

   She takes Bourne to her brother's house to hide away for a little while, but the people chasing Bourne find him once again.

   The picture to the left shows Bourne and Marie early in the movie, where Bourne is giving Marie the money he promised her, in exchange for the ride to Paris.  Marie is rejecting the money, because she thinks that Bourne may have stolen the money.

   In this picture, Bourne and Marie are talking about their plan to get information about a Jason Bourne, who stayed at  the hotel they were near.  Bourne gives Marie all of the information she needs to successfully retrieve this information, but she ends up not using his help to get the papers.
