His career started in 1986 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1990 he was named major league player of the year by the Sporting News magazine. He also won the baseball writers MVP. That year he hit 33 homeruns, hit in 114 RBIs, batted .301, and stole 52 bases. In 1993 he became a free agent and the San Francisco Giants signed. So far in his career 3 MVPs. |
