These are strings to bass guitars. They are a lot thicker than electric guitar strings so that they make a lower sound. You should change your strings every 2 months or else they will start to sound dull. You can revive old strings by boiling them for five minutes. New strings have a ring to them when they are first used they call this "twang".
This is a picture of guitar cables and a guitar strap. These are very basic accessories. The cables are used to plug in to the amp and guitar. The strap is used so you can stand up and play at the same time.  These are helpful to all bass players.
	This is a picture of an effect pedal. It is used to modify the sound of the bass. this pedal has 24 effects. A wah is an effect that gives the bass a funk sound. Distortion is one that makes a metal sound. Some other effects are chorus, phaser, compressor, and overdrive
This is an electric bass guitar amp. There are also acoustic bass amps.  The more watts there are the louder the amp is. In the 70's they did not have many bass amps so most of them bass players like John Paul Jones used Marshall electric guitar amps. If you want to be in a band you will need an amp.
