This is Alcatraz. It is an island right outside of Fisherman's Wharf in the bay.  It was used for many things, but is most known for it being a jail. It was impossible to escape, because if you did, you would die in the bay, or be shot by a guard. It is no longer in use as a jail, but as a museum.

This is the sign outside of Fisherman's Wharf. It stands, welcoming its visitors. Fisherman's Wharf can be very busy, and crowded, but has many nice shops, restaurants, and picture opportunities. In the bay, there are floating barriers, that at least one hundred sea lions lay on, and make a lot of noise. Overall, Fisherman's Wharf is a worth-while trip.....
At night time, you can see the bridge from Fisherman's Wharf.
