The poison arrow frog the coloration  on the frog is an example of aposematic coloration. Which means that it is a poison frog. The poison is in the frogs skin.
The blue ridge spring salamander belongs to the Salimandridae family. The biggest amphibian in this family is 1.5 meters in length it is called the Japanese giant salamander.
To the right is a picture of an early amphibian. The fossils to tell what they looked like were found in eastern Greenland. The length of the early amphibian was 65 cm.
