Escaflowne Melefs, Guymelefs, and Ships
Ecsaflowne
| Of all the ancient Guymelefs, none invoke as much awe as the Guymelefs built by the Ispano people with Atlantean techniques. This "Ispano White" Guymelef is all the more unique in that it took the Ispano 150 years to manufacture, and it can transform into a dragon mode for flying. However, operating the Escaflowne requires a blood pact with the pilot and all the consequences that entails. Van earns the right to pilot the Escaflowne when he extracts a Drag-Energist crystal as part of his pre-coronation ritual. | ![]() |

Scherazade
|
Although not of Ispano manufacture,
the Scherazade is considered a formidable Guymelef mostly because of its
pilot, the Knight Caeli, Allen Schezar. Its relative agility and
Allen's skillful use of the rapier-like sword makes up for its limited
weaponry and inability to transform modes or fly.
Note: Scherazade is an alternate spelling of Scheherazade, the vizier's daughter who recounts the tales in the Arabian Nights to the sultan. |

Alseides
| The Zaibach empire mass-produced
this new generation of Guymelefs developed by Dornkirk, Folken, and the magicians. Beside the unique stealth cloaks that has earned them the
name "invisible giants," the latest version of the Alseides
Guymelefs also have liquid metal Crima Claws that can shape themselves into
almost any weapon.
Note: In Greek mythology, Alseides were nymphs who lived in the groves. |
