Duties of a Midfielder Midfeilders are probably the most important part of the game. They play both offence and defense. A midfeilder also has to take the faceoffs, and get the ball back to the offencive side of the feild. |

Position on Field Midfeilders are allowed to go anywhere on the lacrosse field. They start out however in the center of the field. Midfeilders mostly stay in front of the net, and let their attackmen go around it. When a midfeilder is on defense he is to cover his man. |

Equipment A midfielder wears the same equipment as an attackman. This is a helmet, shoulder pads, arm pads, and gloves. |
