In soccer the main objective is to get the ball into the net. You do that by kicking the ball into the net. Every time you put the ball into the net you get a point it is called scoring. How you win is by having the most points at the end of the game.
	This is a picture of a net. This is what you kick the soccer ball in to score. This is not a picture of actual size. But a professional net is 24 feet wide by 8 feet tall.
This is a picture of a field is more of a diagram of what the field looks like. The field's length at max can be 360 feet and minimum 300 feet. The width of the field can be a max of 225 feet and a minimum of 180 feet. The penalty box is 132 feet by 54 feet.
Some of the basic skills in soccer are kicking with all parts of your feet, and hitting the ball with all parts of your body except your arms.
	In this picture the person is doing a throw-in. A throw- in is where you throw the ball in over your head with two hands without lifting your feet off the ground. From the sidelines when the other team puts the ball out of bounds.
This is a picture of a trap. In this trap he is trapping the ball with his chest. You want to be able to trap it out of the air and put the ball where you can easily begin to dribble it around.
	Heading is can make a big difference in a game. It could mean the difference between winning and losing. You must learn how to head the ball in front of your head and put it where you want it to go.
