Michael Douglas had seen Catherine Zeta-Jones in The Mask Of Zorro and asked if they could be introduced. He discovered that they share a birthday (September 25), it was enough to convince him that she was the one. 

On November 18, 2000, they were married at New York's Plaza Hotel. It was an old fashioned Hollywood glamour all the way. The 350 guests- including Jack Nicholson Meg Ryan, Anthony Hopkins, and Goldie Hawn- danced until dawn.

Catherine will be playing in the film version of the Broadway show Chicago. Michael will appear in A Few Good Years, a comedy starring the entire Douglas clan: Michael's father, Kirk, his mother Diana, and his son Cameron.

Michael and Catherine have one son, Dylan who was born on August 8, 2000, three months before the wedding. The couple may not be finished after all. " I want Dylan to have a brother. Maybe 2 brothers. I just think I was born to breed. I could just pop those babies out." says a very happy Catherine.
