The running back needs to be fast, strong, and agile.  The running back either runs the ball, catches the ball, or blocks for the another running back or the quarterback.  Some well-known running backs in todays game are Jerome Bettis (THE BUS), Marshall Faulk, and Cory Dillion.

The wide reciever needs to be fast, strong, agile, and have great hands for cathcing.  The wide reciever either catched the ball or blocks for the running back.  Some well-known wide recievers in today's game are Marvin Harrison, Jerry Rice, and Rany Moss.

The Linebacker needs to be quick, big, strong, have good hands, and have great vision.  The linebacker either blitzes, tackles, sacks, or defends passes.  Some well-known linebackers in today's game are Junior Seau, Levon Kirkland, and Zack Thomas.
