The Penn State Nittany Lions are one of the most well-known teams in the NCAA. Their coach, Joe Paterno, has 323 wins and has tied the legendary Bear Bryant's record for wins. His record tying win came against Northwestern (38-35) on October 20, 2001. He has been coaching for more than half of the team's existence. Paterno has coached in 526 of the team's 1,044 games. Paterno has lead the Lions into 12 Top 5 finishes. They are 1-4 this year. |
