This is a picture of the old time Penn State Nittany Lions coming out of the tunnel and onto the field. 

The Penn State Nittany Lions are one of the most well-known teams in the NCAA.  Their coach, Joe Paterno, has 323 wins and has tied the legendary Bear Bryant's record for wins.  His record tying win came against Northwestern (38-35) on October 20, 2001. He has been coaching for more than half of the team's existence.   Paterno has coached in 526 of the team's 1,044 games.  Paterno has lead the Lions into 12 Top 5 finishes.  They are 1-4 this year.

This is a picture of Antonio Bryant who plays for the Pittsburgh Panthers. 

Pitt has won nine national championships in its history.  They came in 1915, 1916, 1918, 1929, 1931, 1934, 1936, 1937, 1976.  They are 8-11 in bowl games.  Their coach this year is Walt Harris.  They are 1-5 this year. 

 This is a picture of Alain Kashama who plays for the Michigan Wolverines.

The Michigan Wolverines first game was played on May 3, 1879.  It was a win against Racine.  Michigan's overall record is 805-262-36.  Against the Big Ten they are 417-154-18.  At home they are 537-132-21.  They are 17-15 in Bowl Games.  Michigan has eleven National Championships.  They came in 1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1906, 1918, 1922, 1923, 1947, 1948, and 1997.  They have fourty Conference Championships.  They came in 1898, 1901, 1902, 1903, 1904, 1906, 1918, 1922, 1923, 1925, 1926, 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933, 1943, 1947, 1948, 1949, 1950, 1964, 1969, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1976, 1977, 1978, 1980, 1982, 1986, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1997, 1998, and 2000.  Their coach this year is Lloyd Carr.  They are 5-1 this year.
