Kennywood

and it's

Rides

The Thunderbolt is an old wooden coaster which half of the coaster is the Pippin.
The name of the ride explains the whole ride. The Swings send you up and around a couple of times and then bring you back down.
The Paratroopers send you swinging in the air and then back down.  They were once just red and white but then Kennywood painted  them they only kept some of the red and white.
In 1997 Kennywood had installed a free for all ride. It was 251 feet high and carries 16 people at the time.  Going up it moves 16 feet per second. And going down it moves 100 feet at 65mph.
The Sky Coaster pulls you back over the lagoon. Releasing you at the top and dropping you 180 feet.  The original plan for the Sky Coaster was to have it in Kennywood for one or two seasons  and after that  it would be moved to Sandcastle. But the Sky Coaster was such a success at Kennywood that they kept it.  The Sky Coaster over all cost was $300,000.

The Racer was built in 1927 the total cost was 75,000.  In 1926 Kennywood took out their first racing coaster. The front of the Racer has change many of times.
Taking the place of the Ferris Wheel the Aero 360 takes you up and over on either side.  Starting one way you switch half way through the ride.
The Pittsburgh Plunge entered in 1995 along with Lost Kennywood.
The Turtles (also known as the Tumble bug) started out with one hill then added on.  The Turtles was a really noisy ride that the park placed it in a ravine adjacent  to the Thunderbolt.

A family water ride you would call it. You may not get really wet but the twist ,turns and drops is enough to thrill anybody.
The Wipeout sends you forward and back up and down side to side. The ride slides you into the person right next to you. Enough to get your stomach out of place.
