This Year is Gunna Be Big BABY!

These Predictions are from One of the greats, college basketball anylist and announcer Mr. Dick Vitale himself & from me, Roman Kozak....Anyway, this year is a big year for Freshman & the Junoirs to become the leaders because most of the main stars of the NCAA have moved on to the NBA.

The Main prospect on top of the chart is Duke's 6-2 Junior Point-Gaurd, Jason Williams. All i have to say about him is that he has skills. He is an excellent team leader & is the man to respect when he is out on the court. He could've been the Number 1 pick in the NBA draft, but he came back to finish his studies and try to lead Duke to again another championship! Keep your eye out...he is incredible.

I believe that the Number 1 shooting gaurd this year is going to be Stanfords 6-6 Junior, Casey Jacobson. This kid has the form. He also could've left for the NBA but he wants a championship. It's not just his shot that makes him number 1, his dribbling and being able to drive both ways will tear apart a defense. So foes, beware, when he gets the rock, u better find a way to stop him or the game is over.

I disagree with Dick Vitale on this one. He believes that Missouri's 6-6 Kareem Rush is going to be the main small forward for this year. In my opinion, i think he will be great but i am really behind Uconn's (University of Conneticut) Caron Butler will stick to the numer one spot. He is incredibly strong, rough, and agressive and has a nice soft touch. Dick Vitale says that Kareem Rush is an unstoppable scorer...i don't think so but we will see what happens when they take on Duke's Backcourt....

This years number one power forward is going to be Illinois 6-10 Junior Brian Cook. After Illinois loss to Arizona in the elite eight last year, Brian cook was another who had a chance to goto the NBA, but after coming so close he had to come back again. He is hard to match up with for being 6-10 and having a center that is 6-11. So keep your eyes on him also.

This years number one center without a doubt Western Kentucky's 7-1 Senior, Chris Marcus. He is the Shaq of the NCAA. He is alomost impossible to match up against. The 2 men that i believe would have a chance are Maryland's Lonny Baxter and Duke's Carlos Boozer. Marcus last year averaged 12.1 rebounds a game!!! He also had 97 blocks!!! He is incredible and most defenitly the top defensman in the league. Other than Jason Williams, Marcus is the MAN!
