This Orlando, California USA based group outfit grew based on the show called Making the Band on MTV. Its is about these people that compete to get into a music band and they have to sing and dance to get in. Over the course of 22 episodes the viewer saw many young hopeful singers\dancers whittled down into a quintet by panel of judges put tougher by Lou Pearlman. The lucky five people to make it were Trevor Penick, Ashley Parker Angel, Jacob Underwood, Erik-Michael Estrada, and Dan Miller. At the end of the series O-town was seen signing a recording contract with Clive Davi's new venture, J Records. They made a big hit with the song Liquid Dreams. The groups debut album was also an instant top 5 success when it was released in January. |
