Saarloos Wolfhounds Take one look at these dogs and you would say that they were a wolf . Well they aren't. They are relatives to wolves and they look like them obviously. These dogs have strong pack sense and need firm handling. That is probably because of their strong will and size. |

Tervurens The Tervuren is a member of the Belgian shepherd family, and a close relative of the Groenendael. The difference between the two dogs is the coat color. Each of the hairs on the Tervuren has a black tip giving the dog an impression of blackening around the ribs, back, and shoulders (especially for males). |

Otter Hounds These dogs are called otter hounds because the love the water. Their coat has two distinct layers. The outer coat is rough and hard when you touch it which is a useful thing to have, because the outer coat offers the dog some water-proof ness. The undercoat is wooly and warm. It also is a useful thing to have, because it offers protection from the coldness of the water. |
