Linkin Park is a new Rock band made famous by their song
"One Step Closer"
So far they've play at the Video Music Awards on MTV and at the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland Ohio.
They performed with the Executioners in a pyrotechnical blast.

"We think our music is a cross- section of many genres; a hybrid of what the six of us have grown up on." "The title of the band's debut album and the original band name, Hybrid Theory, describes both the six-pieces' artistic goals and its approach to making music. Linkin Park's sound, which is a melting pot of heavy and alternative rock, hip hop, and synethized sound.
Origin
The Band first began in Mike Shinoda's small bedroom studio, where he had Delson record material in 1996. The two survived to high school together, where they met drummer, Rob Bouron. Shinoda met DJ Joseph Hahn wile studying at Art Center in Pasadena. At the same time Delson shared an apartment with Phoenix, who left the band and returned a year later. The last member Chester Bennington, an Arizona native who started making records when he was 16.
