The Florida Panthers are an expansion team from the start of the 1993 season. Since then they've been to the playoffs 5 times including making it to the Stanley Cup once in 1996 but they lost it to the Colorado Avalanche. They've acquired one of the best Forwards in the game right now and one of the best ever which is Pavel Bure in 1999. He's a big reason why they are a good team. They've been battling injuries over the last couple years which is why they haven't made it to the playoffs. This year they look like they have a good time and they might have a chance at the playoffs. Their Head Coach this year is Duane Sutter after they fired Ted Murray last year to imrove their record.
Their home jerseys are white and their away jerseys are red. They also have alternate jerseys which are blue.
