AGENT SMITH

Sentinel Programs. Can move in and out of the Matrix freely. Not really humans but one heck of a bad guy. They can also morph into anyone at any time; making them impossible to catch and keep in custody. They are also virtually impossible to kill......we think........

Tanks' big brother. He also flies the Nebachanezzar. Not much on this character to report. He gets fried by Cypher.

This character doesn't have a very big role. He appears in a  few scenes and is unplugged by Cypher.

MORPHEUS

This is the rebel leader. He is the oldest and wisest of the rebellion. Morpheus believes  that Neo is "The One". Wants to help Neo even if it means sacrificing his own life.

This character is my personal favorite character. This character gets killed by a group of Agents.

NEO

This is the main character. Morpheus believes that Neo is the "One". Neo also thinks that he is not the "One". In the end, he turns out to be what everyone thinks of him. 

SENTINELS

Search and destroy robots. Need we say more?

SWITCH

This is one of the best sharpshooters in the world. Every shot she shoots hits the target where ever she desires. She gets unplugged by Cypher.

TANK

Dozer's brother. Main person on the ship. Tank was never in the Matrix; he was grown in the real world therefore he cant go in because he has no plugs. Tank is also in charge of getting the crew in and out of the Matrix as well as monitoring them while they are in there. Tank also gets shot by Cypher but lives.

CYPHER

TRAITOR!!!!!! Cypher is part of the rebellion until he makes a deal with Agent Smith to hand over Morpheus to the Agents. In return, Cypher would be permanently re-inserted into the Matrix and not remember a thing. Cypher gets fried by Tank in the end, right before he could unplug Neo.

TRINITY

Trinity has a large role in the movie. She is with Neo most of the time and fights along his side. She, with Morpheus, believe that Neo is the "One".
