Adam Sandler was born on September 9th 1966. Adam was the youngest of four. He has a brother named Scott and two sisters Elizabeth and Valerie.
Adam was born in Brooklyn, New York, but was raised in New Hampshire. His family and him moved to New Hampshire when Adam was only 6 years old. It was tough on Adam to go to a new school. Unlike other six year olds, Adam lived by his own rules.
On Adam's first day of first grade he walked home during recess. Adam's mom (Judy Sandler) had to bring him back to school. The next day, Adam did the same thing. His teacher called his mom and asked if Adam was home, but he wasn't. He was hiding in the bushes because he was afraid of school. But that changed soon. Adam was the known as the class clown. Everyone at Adam's school loved him. On Adam's fist day of in school suspension he didn't know what to expect so he brought a pillow and a portable t.v.
Since Adam was little, all he wanted to be more than anything was a comedian. During Adam's freshman year he got a recurring rule on the "Cosby Show", playing Theo's friend Smitty. After the "Cosby show" Adam Sandler did some stand up comedy. In 1987, he was the MTV show "Remote Control" with Collin Quinn(who is now a Saturday Night Live castmember). Then After that he continued stand up comedy.
One day when Adam was performing, Dennis Miller from Saturday Night Live spotted Adam. Dennis thought that Adam was great and that SNL(Saturday Night Live) needed someone like Adam. In 1990 Adam Became a cast member and writer for SNL. Adam was most famous for his characters Opera man, Canteen Boy, and Cajunman. Adam's cast featured David Spade, Rob Schneider,Chris Rock, and Chris Farley. "The cast is like family to me,"Adam says. After 5 years Adam thought it was enough.
Adam decided to go into the movie industry. He made Hits like Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The wedding Singer, The Waterboy, Big Daddy, and Little Nicky. Adam has had a great carreer so far.
