 You may think that dogs don't live for a very long time but, they have this thing called doggie years your may have heard of it. It is this special thing that happens to dogs, one of our years... our 365 days a year is a total of 7 years for them that means when you have a dog for 1 year they are actually 7 years old, So to them there life it alot longer than we seem.

   A doberman may live up to 8-9 years or 56-63 years. That also depends on how the animal is treated... depending on how well the owner has fed, bathed, how well rested it is  if the dog wasn't over worked, and if u abused it or not etc...
In the early days the  thought of as the best work dog, This was the most popular dog, everbody who had money and needed work to be done bought these special animals,  of course if it was the right price. These animals were used for many different things such as to attack there prey, food, to sniff down the tracks of live prey, to protect the family of the owner, and etc...   Usually only the men of the family would own or buy the dogs.    
  The doberman is an animal special to its species. Many of The dobermans are what people  in the early B.C's  would actually use there animals to work for them to hunt, attack and alot more. The doberman represents fear. Many of the average people are afraid of the because known to man they are very vicious. Mainly the doberman will never attack unless directed to of there owner, or if they have to they will attack there owner. but it really depends on how the dog is raised or if it was abandon or you found it or bought it or a friends or relative gave it to you, you must be careful as for you have no idea what kind of a life it has gone through, or maybe recognize why the person or persons have gave it away sold it, or abandon it.
