This is only some of the equipment used in baseball.

			This is a base that is used at all of the corners of the diamond- shaped baseball field, except for the lower half of the field.

			Home plate is located and used at the lower part of the diamond- shaped field.

			This is a regular glove used by mostly everyone on the field except a few. Everyone but the catcher and the fist baseman use this glove.

			A first baseman's glove is different from the regular gloves. It is specially designed for first a baseman.

			A catcher's glove is the biggest of them all. It is the biggest of all because the catcher needs to stop the ball from getting behind him.

			A catcher's mask is very important because the catcher needs it to protect his face from getting injured.

			A catcher's chest protector protects the catcher's chest from not getting badly injured from the fast balls that are thrown at them all the time.

			The shin guards are also part of the catcher's gear. There are two pads that are on each on of the legs to again protect the catcher from getting badly hurt.

			A bat and a ball are the biggest part of the game. The batter uses the bat to try to hit the ball. The baseball is used mainly by the pitcher because he is the one that starts the game by throwing the first pitch.
