PlayStation2 (PS2) was made by Sony, a Japanese technical giant. Sony makes almost everything that you could think of that is electronic, including TV's, CD players, and even the huge Jumbotron monitor at Heinz Field. Sony has had success before at making console games with their past system, PlayStation. PS2 is the most popular system of the three newest consoles, as many people were lined up in front of the electronics store the morning it was released. PS2 can also play DVD's and CD's.
