Serj Tankian

Serj is an outstanding vocalist at the age of 34. He writes most of his songs and these songs each have meanings. Serj believes in no violence. The only violence he knows of is self-defense, which happens and there's nothing you can do about it. After September 11th, Tankian was very badly misquoted that his lyrics were a part of this terrible incident. One of SOAD's concerts in Hollywood turned into a disaster. There were far to many people at their concert so they had to cancel. This was a bad mistake and resulted in a total riot. Serj says that if there would've been a little communication, that hole tragedy could've been avoided.

John, the drummer of System Of A Down, lived originally in Armenia. He then moved to California, in the United States. He was not the first drummer of SOAD, though. Their first drummer was a tall, kind of big, man who looked like some sort of animal. His name Frank. Frank literally scared the band to death so they got rid of him. That's when they found John.
