James Paul McCartney was born on June 18th to his parents Mary and Jim McCartney.  He had a brother, Peter, who was born 18 months after Paul.  When he was just 14 his mother died of Cancer.  In the year 1957 he joined his first band called The Quary Men. John Lennon was the founder of that group.  Paul was in high school when he met George Harrison.  He was in high school and he found that they had a common intrest, music.  Paul brought George to the place where The Quary Men  practiced.  Soon, he talked John into letting George join the band. Through the years The Quary Men transformed into The Beatles.  The Beatles were a huge sucess.  Paul wrote many of the songs that The Beatles performed.  He worked with John Lennon for many of the songs and others he wrote by himself.  Some of the songs he wrote were "Michelle" and "Yesterday".  "Yesterday" was really written about Scrambled Eggs.  That was before he knew how the lyrics would go.  In 1969 Paul got married to Linda Eastman.  They had four children named Mary, Stella, James, and they adopted a daughter named Heather.  The Beatles Split up in 1970.  Paul was blamed for that because he was the one who announced it to the world. In  1998 Linda McCartney died of cancer.  Paul McCartney is still living today, and is still performing.

Yesterday

Yesterday.  All my troubles seemed so far away.  Now it looks as though they're here to stay. Oh I believe in yesterday.
