Harrison was the baby of the band. He was born Febuary, 24th
1963. He had three siblings Peter, Harry, and Louise. He
got his first guitar at the age of 13, his mother bought it for him.
His first music group was called The Rebles. He formed it right
after he got his guitar. George went to school with Paul at Liver
Pool Institute. They found out that they both liked music, and that
they both played the guitar. Paul brought George to see his band
called The Quarry Men. Even though George was to young to be in the
band he would hang around there all of the time. He was like the
"little brother" of the group. He was there and he was
tolerated, and because he was there he ended up joining the
band. Soon, the group turned into The Beatles. He played the
lead guitar. The Beatles played for many years, and he met Pattie
Boyd. He married her on January, 21st 1966. Four years later
The Beatles broke up. George Harrison died in the year
2001. |
