Mellon Arena

This is the Mellon Arena. Obviously the Penguins play here. When it was built, it was know as the largest dome structure in the world. It holds 17,148 people and was built in 1966.

These pictures above are virtual pictures of the New arena the Penguins are supposed to get in a few years. It will be just under $250 million dollars to build. They will tear down the Mellon Arena and build a park and a hotel in that space. It should be done in 3-4 years and the final completion with everything in it including the park and the hotel could take up to 20 years.
