Main Idea
| Blackjack is a game that involves deep thinking. What does the dealer have? Should I hit, stay, surrender, double down, or split up the cards? The main idea of the game is to get closer to 21 than the dealer without going over. | Hit-to get another card.
Stand-to keep the cards you have and end your turn. Double-to put twice as much money down, but you only get one more card. You usually only do this if you have eleven or ten and if the dealer is under seventeen and you think the dealer is about to bust. Surrender-to forfeit your turn. You only give the dealer half of your money. |
A Split split-If you have two of the same card, you may choose two split
it up into two different hands. If you do this, you must put another
bet of the same amount down on the other card. Remember, this is also 20, and there is only one thing that the dealer can have that would beat this. |

With this hand, the dealer may have anything from ten to twenty, be careful. Rely on instinct. |

Blackjack
With a blackjack, the dealer is to pay you 1.5 times the amount that you put down. So if you bet $10, the dealer is to pay you $15. If the dealer gets blackjack, the game is automatically over and the dealer takes all of the money unless you are dealt a blackjack first. Then you win! |
Bust-to go over 21, If you do this, you automatically lose. This adds up to more than 21.
