| Demon Patients
These are the main enemies in the game. They resemble men in a straight jacket, of flesh. They are relatively easy but when they get close they shoot a mist of poisonous gas and after one or to hits can be fatal. Best to deal with these with the wooden plank or steel pipe, which will knock them to the ground and have James stand over them and simply press X to finish it off with a kick. |

| Nurse Demons
You will encounter these for the first time in Brookhaven Hospital. Their appearance is a faceless dirty nurse with a big spear the drag behind them. If the manage to get a hit of it does some serious damage so shoot them from afar with the handgun. If your out use wooden plank, not steel pipe. James does a jab with the pipe and it misses quite often.

| Mannequins
These are the easiest creatures in Silent Hill. They appear to be a mannequin from a store with legs on top instead of arms and a head. If they get near you they will unleash a volley of kicks which still is pretty easy to avoid. Best is to either shoot them with the handgun or take the chances with the plank. Their attack does hurt so its best to deal with them from afar or just run by. They are attracted to light so in places if you don't have your weapons don't worry.

| Underhangers
This odd creature is under the wire fencing you have to walk on. They hangers hang with two huge grappling arms. The hangers shoot tendrils up at the victim on top and if the attack is completely successful it does a devastating amount of damage. The best way to avoid them is just to run from them. The things don't seem to die while getting shot and the hand melee weapons are useless. Run and watch out for the holes because James will stop at them giving the beast a chance to attack.

| Doormen
This is the hardest common opponent that is in Silent Hill. The thing resembles a door that decided to grow some arms and legs. The attack you by running and hitting you with there front arms. They are fast. If they are in the distance get out the shotgun and shoot until you know there not coming back up. The damage they do is almost enough to kill you. When you meet these things in the Lake View Hotel keep out your shotgun the whole time your toward the end of the game and use it so you can save life for the final boss. |

| Pyramid Head
He is the first big enemy James encounters on his journey. He is located in the Blue Creek apartment stairwell. Immediately when you enter and gain control, with the handgun shoot. Don't try the door because its locked and the stairway is flooded. Fire round after round at him. When he gets near you side step to another corner of the room continue firing. When you need to reload go to the start menu and reload, it will prevent you from being helpless when James manually reload. After a lot of bullets he will head toward the stairs. Let him go and do not approach him until the waiter in the stairway drains. Go down the stairs and you will have finished the Woodside and Blue Creek Apartment dungeon.

| Hangers
When you enter C2 in the Brookhaven Hospital you will find Laura. She comes with you to leave but will take you to another room because she says she forgot something. She locks you in that room. As you yell for her to open it a creature will be in the ceiling. They drop down and you get a look at them. They look like demons stuck in a cage like object. Well when you gain control equip the shotgun and shoot the nearest one to you. Switch back and forth between the two hangers to keep them at bay. If they get near you the will grab onto you with there feet. To get out wiggle out rapidly going back and fourth on the controller. If your playing on a harder level switch to the hand gun after a while to conserve handgun ammo. |
| Doorman
James encounters his first Doorman when he hears Angela's scream in the. Toluca Prison. This is the first Doorman you find, but don't worry this is the boss type not the common you will find. Use the shotgun and the best thing I can say is shoot and back up from it. It moves at a fast speed and it good after 1 or 2 shots to take a step back. Every two hits you get on it, it will fall to the ground giving you good time to get as far away as you can. If it get by you it will rise its front and fall down on you. It's major damage. Once again when you run out of ammo go to the menu and reload. After a 10 to 15 shots it will back down and Angela will give it it's proper fate. |
| Eddie
Yes you must take on Eddie. He is also in the Toluca Prison. After you literally jump into your own grave you find Eddie at the foot of another dead body, he claims for it and after a brief conversation he turns on you. In the first room with Eddie use your shot gun and shoot like crazy. Don't go to the menu to reload because as it loads you can still be shot with Eddies six-shooter. His shots do a lot of damage so keep feeding James Medical Kits and Health drinks. After Eddie takes on a bit of shots he turns and runs out of the small room. Look along the room for ammo and after you pick it up head into the room. There are two ways to go against Eddie in this part. One is the direct approach which is just keep blasting him and keep using the health drinks. The other is to hide behind the things of meat and plan right after he shoots to sidestep out and go back. The best chance to get a lot of shots is when he reloads. If he gets near you he'll punch you. It doesn't do nearly as much as the gun but is still a hard hit. After about 12 shots, Eddie will fall

| Pyramid Head Duo
After you see another horrific scene of one of
the main characters dying at the hands of two Pyramid Heads, James stands
up and swears to end this nightmare. The two attack you and your in
for the showdown. Equip the Rifle and keep constant fire on one of
them. When they get near sidestep away to another corner and
continue your fire. It takes time to lower and raise the weapon and
plan that time. The duo is relatively slow but they poke with their
spear fast. If they hit you once use a med kit. After about 12
shots with the rifle they will head to the middle. Stop shooting to
conserve ammo. When they reach the middle they we impale
themselves. And that is the last you will see the Pyramid Head
monster.

| The Final Boss
The final boss is on the roof of the Lake View Hotel. This is it the final demon. The boss is different according to the ending you have earned so all I can say is it will be one of to people on the roof, it's the one you didn't love. They will complain about you and what you have done to them, and turn to a demon that resembles one of the Hangers. The creature will have two attacks they will use against you. It is either a cloud of deadly moths. If you go carefully you can sidestep at the right time and miss them. If they do hit you they will slow you down allowing the creature to come in closer and attack with it's long tail. If you can avoid the moths and run a good distance away, Whip put the rifle and shoot the thing until it gets near or lets some more moths out. When that happens run to the other side and continue the pattern. She's fast so be careful. Remember the rifle does take a while to bring to your shoulder and to bring down to. Follow those steps and after enough shots it will fall. James will finish it off and you will leave the town, Silent Hill, never to return again.
