You want hot, new beats go to Dj Clue and he'll hook you up. Dj Clue had been putting out hot cds since 1990 when he appeared on the underground scene. But he has yet to drop his true skills on the beats on his own cds. This cd can be the closest commercial release to have as much blazin' tracks as his underground cds. This cd has guest appearances from Jadakiss, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Jay-Z, Mobb Deep, P. Diddy, Lil' Mo, DMX, Snoop Dogg, Freeway, Kurupt, Busta Rhymes, Ghostface Killah, Lox, Fabolous, Trick Daddy, Nas, Trina, and Redman among others so you know it has the rapping power that would keep it in your cd player for weeks. Let me tell you this New York Dj Dj Clue has lots of friends that have gone past multi-platinum status and with his beats this is should be a firepower cd. The cd starts out with another intro just like the last cd by P. Diddy. Then goes into the remix of the hit Back 2 Life by Mary J. Blige with a hit of Jadakiss in the middle. Then to everyone's surprise Jay-Z comes on freestyling on a old Biggie Smalls beat with DJ Clue in the background screaming "It's DJ Clue for your mother." just like P. Diddy on the old Bad Boy songs. Then your hear one of the best songs on the cd by DMX called Who's Next. Then your hit with another Roc-a-fella records appearance by Beanie Sigel and Freeway on coming for you. Then you hit a weak spot on a song that should have never been. None of these artists should have ever been on this song together they all have different styles. You get Lox, Cam'ron, Nature & Fabolous on the track Fantastic Four Pt. 2. It's not that bad of a song but it should have just been Lox & Fabolous they're styles are sort of close. The cd starts off great but mixes rappers with rappers who shouldn't be. The surprise here is how many west coast rappers came over and appeared on this cd. Kurupt, Daz Dillinger, and Snoop Dogg all come over for two songs that are some of the best on the 23 track cd. But five years ago that would have never happened. Overall this cd is a must-buy. Beats: 10/10 Lyrics 8/10 Best Song: Who's Next By DMX Worst Song: Red By Redman
