Drew Lachey grew up in Cincinnati Ohio.  He attended the school; Cincinnati school of creative and performing arts.  He was the first kid in his family to go to that school.   He auditioned for the school when he was only 8 years old.  When Drew graduated from high school he immediately joined the army.  He went through basic training then medical training and became an E.M.T. (Emergency Medical Technician)  He then joined the reserve and moved to Brooklyn, NY.

       When the band was getting started he wasn't in the band.  He had heard that his brother was involved with it.  When one of the members dropped out of the group, Nick Drew's brother call Drew up.  He asked him if he would be interested in dropping his job and begin a singing career.  He said ,of course, yes.  His brother then flew to New York to pick up Drew.  They both packed him up and they left for California and drove across the country together.
