American Invaders
Before the invasion, general Eisenhower talked to the boys that were about to go over the channel. Some of the boys were 30 miles to there death and they were ready to liberate France after it has been taken over by the nazis at the beginning of the war
During the invasion of the beach there wasn't much cover. When they got to the seawall they hid against the wall and took as much cover as they could. There was engineers that had shark torpedos that cut open the barbed wire so that the infantry could pass through.
As the men were coming off the ship the Germans started to fire. The people that came on the beach Omaha had it bad. The Germans were in a live fire execise as they were approaching the beach. The Germans were ready for the invaders at Omaha. As you can see from this picture some of the men die as soon as they got off the ship. The poor men couldn't even do there jobs.
