Here is a picture of a German Airplane called the Focke-Wulf.  It was part of the Luftwaffe.  It was probly the best propeller driven fighter of Nazi Germany.  this is a computer generated Drawing.

P-47D Thunderbolt Republic

The P-47D was one of the best fighter-bommers of the war.  They callled it a "jug" because it dived like one.  Nothing could out dive a jug.  The only problem was that the razerback had limmited visiblity.  The durability if the plane made up for that, though.  It was a favorite plane throughout the whole war. 

Theses are paratroopers.  they were the first men to go into the whole battle.  They droped homing devices so they new were to land. They were supposed to clap twice if they saw one of there freids but that was the same sound when a German gun was being loaded.  And to add to that the homing devices didnt work because there was a overcast, so the men were just completely slaughtered.
