George Washington was born on February 22nd, 1732 in Pope's Creek, Virginia. He married Martha Dandridge Custis, who previously had children named, John Parke and Martha Parke.
George Washington became our first president in 1789, when The Constitution was ratified. John Adams was his Vice-President, and they both served their country until 1797.
George died on December 14th, 1799, with the Nickname, "Father of our Country."
