Hitting
To hit the ball you should take a small step swing snapping your wrist as the ball makes contact with the bat. During the swing your shoulder should stay in and your eyes should be on the ball the whole time during the swing. On the bat your knuckles should be lined up with no space between your hands.

Bunting
The object of bunting is to let the bat absorb the blow of the ball, roll and die before the ball reaches the pitchers mound. You want the ball to go near the 3rd baseline, usually if you are bunting to get on base. How to bunt is before the pitcher lets go of the ball, while the pitcher is in the middle of her\his wind up, you should square up to the ball.
