The Beatles originally stared as the Quarrymen in 1958 in Liverpool England. The Quarrymen consisted of John Lennon , Paul McCartney , George Harrison , and Pete Best. Not until 1961 did Ringo Starr join the Beatles. Now the original Beatles were in place. The band performed in a local pub called the Cavern. It was here at the pub that the Beatles began there fame. They were the most popular bar band in Liverpool England. The Fab Four were also playing summers in Hamburg Germany. With their hard driven rock and roll and their original songs , the Beatles were becoming more popular. In 1962 while playing at the Cavern Pub Brian Epstin introduced himself to the Beatles. He would become their manager , who would give them the tools and direction to help them get a record contract , and they did.
