In the mid 1950's in Liverpool England John Lennon , Paul McCartney , George Harrison ,and Ringo Starr formed a band called the Beatles. Their music was simple and came from the personal experiences of friendship , love , family , and social situations. They created a musical culture everybody could relate to. That is why they are claimed the greatest musical band of the century. You will find information on each band member and how the Beatles started.
