THESE ARE SOME OF THE BEST STEELERS PLAYERS EVER ACCORDING TO ME.

Player Picture Info and Stats
This is the Founder and first Owner of the Pittsburgh Steelers "The Chief" Art Rooney.  He started the Steelers when he had a good day at the horse races.  He bought the Steelers for 2,500.  He was known as "The Chief", and known was always seen smoking his cigar.
This is a picture of "Mean" Joe Greene.  He was a Defensive Lineman For our team from 1969-1981.  He got his nickname because he would terrorize the players on the other team on the field.   He got introduced into the Pro Football hall of Fame in 1987.  He was in Pro Bowls from 1970-1977, 1979 and 1980.  He had a career high 11 sacks in 1972 when Pittsburgh won their 1st super Bowl ever.
This is a picture of Lynn Swann making his famous catch against the Cowboys in super Bowl X in 1976.  He finally got inducted into the Pro-Football Hall of Fame in 2001, after waiting 14 nominations.  He played with the Steelers from 1974-1982.  He had 336 receptions for5,462 yards and 51 Touchdowns.  He holds the record for most receiving yards in a Super Bowl with 364.
This is a picture of Jack Lambert without his from teeth.  He was a very fierce player that offensive players were afraid of his whole career.  He played with the Steelers from 1974-1984.  He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990.
This is a picture of Chuck Noll.  he was the 14th coach in Steelers history, and the most productive.  Leading the Steelers to 4 super bowls in the 70's, and winning all four, not to mention all the AFC championship games, Chuck Noll is known as one of the best Pro Football Coaches going 209-156-1 with the Steelers.  in his 1st draft, he drafted Hall of Famers like "Mean" Joe Greene, L.C. Greenwood and John Kolb.  He Became Coach on January 27th, 1969, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1993.
This is a picture of Kordell Stewart.  Drafted in the 2nd round in 1995.  He's had his up's and downs but this year was the 3rd QB in the Pro-Bowl for the A.FC.  He went to the Super Bowl in 1995 as a rookie at WR, but the Steelers lost to the Cowboys.  He took them to the A.F.C. championship in 1997 as a QB, but they lost to Denver, and again this yr, but we lost to the Patriots.
This is a picture of Jason Gildon. Drafted in the 3rd round by the Vikings in 1993 out of Oklahoma State.  The Steelers picked him up and it's been a great ride since then.  this season, he was the veteran of the new Steel Curtin Defense, along with Kendrell Bell, Joey Porter an Earl Holmes.  The Steelers have a tradition in excellency at linebacker, an the tradition hasn't stopped here with gildon.
This is a picture of Heinz Ward.  Drafted in 1998 in some round, he has been working on to being a great player.  after only 3 years him, accompanied by 2 yr veteran Plaxico Burred, they combined for the 1st time ever, 2 receivers got 1,000 yards in the same year and game in Steelers history.
This is a picture of Kendrall Bell.  A 2nd round draft pick in 2001 out of some university, he made an impact right away.  Showing a rookies excitement, and a veterans intelligence, strength and discipline, he had big shoes to fill after Levon kirklands departure, and he did that.  Named Defensive rookie of the Year in 2001, he helped bring back the old steel Curtin.
