This movie is the most common movie that Josh is known for.  He plays a pilot who goes to war.  A love triangle is formed between Josh Hartnett (Danny), Ben Affleck (Reeves), and Kate Beckinsale (name).  

Pearl Harbor is rated PG13 and was released in 2000.

40 Days and 40 Nights

This Remnant film stars Josh Matt Sullivan during his fight to keep what he gave up for lent.

This movie is coming out to theaters soon in March 2002.

Black Hawk Down

Directed by Ridely Scott is a action movie starring Josh.

It's rated R and was released on December 28th, 2001.

The Faculty

There is an alien that inffects everybody, and Josh the hero, by killing the alien by stabbing it with drugs.

It was rated PG13, and was released in 1998.

"O"

This film had been delayed for 2 years by Miramax Films because of the violence the movie  depicts, because of the school shootings and brutal rape scenes.  The film was eventually picked up by Lion Gate Films.

It is rated R and was released in the spring of 2000.

Halloween H2O

This movie got mixed reviews, but horror film fans crowded the theaters.  Josh got recognition for his role.

Blow Dry

This was a comedy starring Josh alongside Rachel Leigh Cook.  

It is rated R and was released on March 7th, 2001.

The Virgin Suicides

This film proved Josh's acting ability, who was cast along side Kristen Dunst, James Wood and Kathleen Turner for Sophia Copoola's adaptation of her favorite book.  It was a hit and Josh got good reviews as his role as the cocky-hotshot-Trip Fontaine.

It was rated R and was released in the fall of 1999.

Town and Country

This film was delayed for almost a year, and it bombed in the box offices.

It was rated PG13 and was released in September 17th, 1999.

Here On Earth

A wealthy prep student, Kelley (Chris Klein), and a small town girl, Samantha (Leelee Sobieski)-who happens to be Jasper's (Josh Hartnett) girlfriend fall in love.  Samantha finds out she is terminally ill.  Kelley must decide between her or his future.

Here On Earth is rated PG and was released March 24, 2000.
