The picture on the right is the most basic trick, the Ollie. in order to be able to Ollie you have to be able to ride the board first. First place your front foot about 4 inches behind the hardware by the nose. Next, put your back foot on the tip of the tail to get as much pop as you can get. As soon as you pop the board down slide your front foot toward the nose. You might not get as high as you expected to, but just keep practicing and you'll get better at it. |

This is a picture of a kick flip. When you do a kick flip you should set up the same way as you would an Ollie. Instead of sliding your foot to the nose, kick your toes out towards the left side of the nose. When you slide your foot, make sure you jump and try to stay above your board. if you can stay above the board all you have to do is worry about flipping the board right. |

The heel flip is almost exactly like the kick flip. the only difference is that you have to kick the board the opposite way of the kick flip using your heel. |

This trick on the right is called a pop-shuvit. Set up like you would for an Ollie. pop the tail and kick your back foot behind you. Jump the way you're spinning the board. Stay above it and try to land on the hardware. |

This is a 360 flip. set your feet up and have your back foot half way off of the tail. Put your front foot almost parallel with the hardware. Kick back hard with your back foot and slide your front foot like you would for a kick flip. Jump up and stay above the board. You should come close to landing it at least after your tenth try. |

A backside flip is a like a 360 flip. Set up the same way as a 360 flip, but what you want to do is turn your body 180 degrees when you flip the board. when you do this trick you DON'T have to kick the board as hard. |
