As all of the Navy and Marines woke and got ready for the new day the Japanese were planning a major attack on the United States of America. As the first wavy of the attack got ready the Americans were coming back from there morning masses. The sailors got into there uniforms and prepared for the new days work. Those that were not religious were still asleep in the halls of the ships. As the Japanese boarded there planes the Americans cleaned there ships.
That Afternoon
As the Japanese approached Pearl Harbor they loaded there guns and checked there bombs. With in minutes they saw there targets and separated from there squads. When the first bullet rang from the gun the Americans realized the were under a surprise attack. The few sailors that were ready loaded the deck guns and returned fire. As the bombs began to fall and ships burst into flames the Americans realized they had a problem. More and more Americans began to help and some even boarded the planes and opened fire on the zeros. The Americans took out many enemies but the Japanese just sent more waves of fighters.
That Evening
As the dusk rolled in the Japanese had left. The sailors began to cut up the sunken ships. Do to the shallowness of the harbor the ships halls were exposed above the water line. The sailors that had lived walked over the halls looking for survivors. Many heard taping through the metal for help. Some of the sailors found torches to cut through the metal to get to their comrades that were trapped. Many of these attempts failed because the metal was so thick. As the evening and clean up wore on the president declared war on the Empire of Japan.
