Tidus was once a star blitzball player in the city of Zanarkand. He had money, fame, all he wanted, that is, until the creature known as Sin turned his world upside down.
Thrown one thousand years into the future, Tidus finds a world were people live in fear of technology, where a strange and mystical religion reigns, and discovers that Sin has been a plague on the planet for a thousand years.
He now journeys along with the summoner Yuna and a band of unlikely allies across the vast lands of Spira. They will travel to each of the Yevon temples to collect the power of the mythical creatures known as 'aeons' who will help them defeat Sin and bring peace to Spira.
On this journey Tidus will make friends as well as enemies, be given tests of strength and spirit, and learn not who he is, but what he is.
