Luke Skywalker- Luke Skywalker is the most important character in the series.  He was raised by his Uncle Owen and his Aunt Beru.  He is the son of Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader).  He is responsible for the destruction of the Death Star in the first movie.  He was trained by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda in the Jedi arts. 

Leia Oragna-Leia Organa is a former imperial leader turned rebel leader.  She was adopted by the Allderaan royal family.  She is Luke's brother and later she will be married to Han Solo.

   Han Solo- Han Solo is a smugger turned rebel captain.  He travels with his loyal partner Chewbacca.  He had a bounty placed on  his head  after he dropped a supply of technical parts to be delivered to Jabba the Hutt.  He was finally captured by infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett. 

Chewbacca- Chewbacca is a famous wookie and smuggler.  He is the companion of Han Solo.  He travels with his specially modified bowcaster (a modified laser crossbow).  

Darth Vader- Darth Vader is the main villain in the trilogy.  His real name is Anakin Skywalker.  He was trained in the Jedi arts by Obi-Wan Kenobi.  He is completely loyal to his master, Emperor Palpatine.
