Bags are used to carry  all of our swimming equipment that you need for that day. They come in all sorts of colors and sizes. They are very useful.

Caps are used to keep the hair out of your eyes. Mostly girls wear them, but some guys wear them, too.

Fins are used only in the water, you have to put them on and take them off in the water. They are used to help you feel the water with your feet and to propel you through the water.

Kickboards are used to help you kick better. You use these boards to help your legs get stronger. You don't use your arms at all when you use the boards.

Paddles are used to help you feel the water in your hand. They are worn on the hand and allow you to go farther in the water per stroke.

Pull Buoys are used in between your legs. They help to keep you balanced in the water. When you swim with a pull buoy, you are not able to kick so it also helps to strengthen your arms.

Sandals are worn so that you don't get any blisters on your feet from the pool deck. They come in different sizes and colors. They help to keep you from slipping, too.

Shammys are used to dry off. They help when it is cold outside when you are at an outdoor pool, in the middle of summer at 5:30 in the morning.

Snorkels help to control your breathing. We recently started to use them, it helps a lot when you can't breath.
